~LUNAR ECLIPSE IN VIRGO~

Hello my loves,

Wow, how incredibly potent was the energy of that Lunar Eclipse! She was in the sign of the Virgin, the sovereign dark and wild feminine, which really took to the stage in all her glory. This moon let everyone know she was not fucking around this cycle, we are no longer supressing ourselves, we are no longer playing it nice or small, we are stepping into our magick, our inner she-wolf is finally being let out to play. This energy was very expansive and overwhelming for many and there was a deep calling to retreat into the caves of our hearts, but this descent into shadow is exactly what was being called for as the moon released her crimson glow and now begins to wane. We are being called to undergo the mythic journey of descent, much like the journey which the great goddesses of our ancient past were initiated through; Kore became Persephone as she descended into Hades, Inanna, Ishtar journey deep through the earth to her sister Ereshkigal to own her shadow. There is power so deeply rooted within each and every one of us that lays dormant in the soil of our souls, and so we journey into the' Tehom' The Deep, primordial earth, to reclaim it and bring it back to the surface in our waking lives.

During this moon I connected to the Earth mysteries, the dirt, the blood of the womb and the tomb as womb and life renewed again. This exploration was embodied in my own personal practices as well as a Guided Journey to the Underworld which I recorded for those who wish to make the descent with me. Take care of yourselves over this next week as there will no doubt be lingering symptoms of an energetic hang-over from the turbulence of these Lunar Transitions.
