Virgo Dark & New Moon Musings

Welcome to Virgo Season! When the luxurious Lioness shapeshifts into a beautiful Earth Priestess. The energies of Virgo are traditionally aligned with the maiden or virgin, but from my past musings you will know that this more pertains to her sovereignty, as opposed to any state of chastity and youth. She is vitality and intelligence, intuitively tuned into the vibration of the earth and the elements. Ruled by the intellectual mercury she is encouraging us to begin taking up those administrative tasks we have been procrastinating on for a long while. There is a feeling of emergence and inspiration coming through with the energetic of the dark & new moon with a willingness to finally release that which stands in the way of our joy.For me personally there was a significant realisation around how much fear holds me back from what it is I truly wish to feel and experience within my life, with a realisation that I am not afraid of the worst outcome... I am petrified of the best outcome. I began asking the questions of what it would be like to pursue my dreams and fully embody my essence fully, and even at the suggestion of those possibilities, my body began to fall straight into freeze.
I feel collectively many may relate to this experience.Is it that we are truly afraid of failure? or is it that we are actually afraid of success?
This year has already been a year of deep belief work, bringing awareness to the inherited or adopted thought patterns which have dictated our realities for far too long. Virgo steps in now and decrees that we shall no longer stand for such treason of the soul.
The emergence of the first spring blooms brings us hope and herald the power of the suns return to the land, who's warmth defrosts our wintered hearts. The call to begin germinating and emerging is a gentle process, as we break through the cooler topsoils to meet father sun. Small yet meaningful steps are being taken towards greater action. Virgo holds space for us as our internal gardens bloom, she reminds us to go at our own place and move with grace, to be conscious of our energy and to set boundaries around its use as well as who is allowed to enter the garden at this time. It is absolutely okay to only permit your trusted circle entry at this time to help support and nurture your visions, a with a 'NO VISITORS' sign upon the gate. Our energy is sacred and limited and should be used wisely.

1. During your time in the underworld of Winter, what fears or limiting beliefs have you been made aware of that may be stopping you from embracing and embodying your souls' desires? Are you ready to release those in order to fully bloom with the coming of spring? Or is there more work which needs to be done?
2. How do you embody the Sovereign, King/ Queen archetype? Who are you when you fully embrace your power? Are you content with your Kingdom? or are there areas of your realm which require attention?
3. What is happening in your Garden? Internally and externally. Are you feeling the call to seed, germinate and emerge? are you blooming? or are you waiting for the weather to warm up a little more before action takes place? or do you feel disconnected from the wilds of your heart?
